Social media use is growing among US Hispanics.
Businesses using
parcel delivery and
courier services can use social media to reach a growing demographic audience in the US.
The US Hispanic population is one of the fastest growing groups embracing social media, according to Joe Kutchera, author of the book Latino Link.
"Many research companies and marketers say that social media is often the gateway to Hispanics and the media," he told the Huffington Post.
"Therefore, marketers need to address what content on their websites is helpful to their Hispanic consumers."
Meanwhile, the Center for Hispanic Leadership Founder and former executive Glenn Llopis explained to the newspaper that the Hispanic population are the fastest growing users of the internet and will have purchasing power worth $1.3 trillion (£840 billion) in three years.
The news comes as two leading social networking sites, Facebook and LinkedIn, consider float on the stock market.
Facebook's shareholders are nearing the 500 mark, the point at which US laws dictates that a flotation is necessary.
The social network has been valued at around $50 billion (£32 billion).
