PayPal's app for Android devices has just been upgraded, and has addressed many of the criticisms which it got from users and the tech press.
The app is designed to work seamlessly alongside Android 4.0, but includes a few important new features and changes, such as the navigation bar being moved to the top of the screen, an account tab which shows an activity log on the user's PayPal account, and 'send' and 'request' tabs to allow users to carry out all their usual electronic transactions.
According to Mobileburn.com, users can now also link their PayPal account with a debit or credit card, to make it easier to transfer funds, which is done by either manually entering the card's details, or taking a photo of it using any device's on-board camera.
The Android app also has a useful feature by which they can check in to a location and notify a retailer that they intend to pay for their purchases by PayPal.
