London Fashion Week charity auction under way

This week is one of the most important in the British fashion industry's calendar - London Fashion Week.

And to mark the occasion, along with its new partnership with the British Fashion Council, eBay has begun a 10-day live auction which will raise funds for work with deprived children around the world.

The auction boasts exclusive pieces from leading British designers, including Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Burberry which have been showcased on the catwalk in their latest collections.

And a special auction, themed as 'Minnie Mouse's Must-Haves' is also being held, which features a range of one-off pieces designed around the style of Walt Disney's famous character.

Disney itself has agreed to donate the proceeds from their sale to another British Fashion Council initiative, the Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation, which is designed to help maintain Britain's reputation for fashion and creative innovation.

There are many items on offer, to be found using #bidboutique, including a size four pair of Minnie Mouse shoes, pictured here.

Bidding on these and lots of other items ends this Sunday.
