She's probably as famous for her wardrobe as for any of her TV exploits. So when Kim Kardashian decides to offload a stack of items from her wardrobe on eBay, it naturally makes big news.
And although she's probably more renowned for how little, rather than what, she often wears when she's photographed, the eldest of the Kardashian clan is expected to attract a great deal of interest from buyers who want to add some unique items to their clothing collection.
That's especially true as among the latest batch of items to be placed for sale in her eBay store are pieces from such famous designers as Alexander McQueen, Roland Mouret and Lanvin.
Marie Claire magazine is claiming that the late spring clean is at the instigation of Kim's rapper boyfriend, Kanye West.
The cash won't all be going straight into Kim's purse, however – especially as she has little need for it. She is to give 10 per cent of all the proceeds to the Life Change Community Church.
The sale runs until this Sunday. At the time of writing, there was a total of 364 items listed in 'Kim's Closet Clothing Store' on eBay – although, ironically, the highest bid was not for a frock or something similar, but Kim's old BlackBerry phone, for which a buyer is prepared to pay $1,310 (£827).
