A cricket bat which once belonged to Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar is up for auction on the country's eBay website this week - and potential buyers have just under two days to make their bids.
In association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, eBay is auctioning a bat autographed by the cricketer, who became widely known in his home nation as The Little Master.
The proceeds from the charity auctions will benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation of India, which is dedicated to granting the most cherished wish of children who live with life-threatening illnesses.
Deepa Thomas, Senior Manager, Pop Culture at eBay India said: “We encourage Sachin fans to bid generously as all the proceeds will benefit a noble cause and brighten up lives of young children.”
At the time of writing, the price had been bid up from 1,001 rupees to 31,500 rupees - approximately £448 - so the buyer will need fairly deep pockets, although it's reckoned that the buyer could get a good deal on international shipping which would help keep costs down.
