Users of ebay.co.uk can, until next Sunday, September 9, list up to 150 items for auction without paying an insertion fee.
Initial fees are being suspended, but sellers will still have to pay the standard extra charges such as final value fees, and extra charges for picture packs or listings requiring international visibility.
Users of professional selling tools are also barred from using these quick listing methods for the promotion.
While items must be listed for auction, they can still have a 'buy it now' price included, although there will be a listing upgrade fee payable for the 'buy it now' facility..
The main condition for the offer concerns the means by which items are listed. Quick Sell or Advanced Sell forms must be used, or items have to be added using one of eBay's mobile apps.
eBay has a guide to what items, and means or selling, are excluded from the offer, on its website.
