Worldwide shipping firm DHL has been named as the official logistics partner of Rugby World Cup 2011.
Fans ordering tickets by courier delivery will find that DHL is to be responsible for ticket distribution.
In addition, the firm will deliver competing teams' equipment and operate Rugby World Cup Limited (RWCL)/International Rugby Board's (IRB) express shipments and international and domestic freight movements.
As teams travel to matches around New Zealand, DHL will move kit, equipment and uniforms from training grounds to match venues.
It is thought that DHL trucks will cover around 30,000 kilometres of New Zealand over the course of the tournament.
Bernard Lapasset, RWCL chairman, said the appointment of a renowned brand in the logistics industry further underscores Rugby World Cup's global prestige and appeal.
"We look forward to working with DHL over the next 12 months to further the promotion of the game around the world as the sporting community looks forward to another memorable and exciting tournament."
A limited number of tickets for the tournament will be made available this Friday (September 10th).
