Businesses and people who send parcels to France could see prices charged by La Poste thrown into disarray by the French postal regulator.
ARCEP has just concluded a consultation on how France's national letter and parcel delivery service, La Poste, charges for different items by format and by weight.
Currently, La Poste has three different pricing categories for the packages it delivers in France based on weight. ARCEP has previously indicated that it wants to see weight accounted for more clearly.
That could be bad news for businesses that regularly send parcels to France, if prices are increased across the board.
If that turns out to be the case, many cross-Channel postal service users are likely to be looking for new options for delivering their mail.
