A website has been launched in the US to rival the likes of Ebay and Amazon

Glyde.com is designed for those who find the other media marketplace’s too complicated.

Sellers can list items like CDs and books, in just a few seconds by matching it to the site’s own database.

Once they have a buyer, Glyde.com sends a stamped addressed envelope to the seller so they can ship it out.

The website doesn’t charge to list items but takes 10% of the sale.

There is also a clear returns policy with buyers having 48 hours to change their mind.
