Postal workers walked out of Royal Mail’s Bridgewater sorting office on Tuesday.
The unofficial walkout was in response to the suspension of two colleagues.
Staff downed tools at 8 o clock in the morning and lasted more than an hour.
The workers returned after discussions with managers at the office.
A spokesperson for the postal company said there may be some delivery delays in the area as a result.
He would not discuss the details of the suspension of two employees.
