Businesses that send parcels via courier to the USA will now be able to track them on their Android-powered mobile phones.
The new Android app now sits alongside similar ones developed by the international couriers for the iPhone and Blackberry.
UPS's vice-president of customer technology marketing, Jordan Colletts, remarks that the new app "places UPS at the fingertips of our customers on the go."
The app not only tracks parcels that are currently being delivered, but also stores a history of tracked shipment and allows tracking numbers to be nicknamed for easy reference.
This makes it perfect for firms that send a lot of packages and need to be able to see quickly which is which.
