Bruce Langham is a man on a mission, with his aim being to revolutionise how people shop online.

With his biduhappy.com website, the Hibernian FC board member wants to take the traditional eBay model of online retail and flip it on its head, with sellers pitching their products in the hope of attracting customers.

For sellers to win the deal, they will have to outmanoeuvre their rivals with better offers.

Shoppers can find a whole host of items to browse through, including bicycles, wine, home appliances and more.

The site will go nationwide next year, after launching recently in Scotland-only beta format.

Mr Langham said that both consumers and retailers are winners with Biduhappy.com and that it is a fresh approach to online retail.
