More people used Tesco Direct’s website to do their Christmas shopping.
Its online sales soared 20% in the 6 weeks to January 9.
Tesco Direct saw 50% growth in sales overall.
Over 100 million items were shipped out to 1.5 million customers in the build up to Christmas.
The most popular items were toys, TVs and games.
Tesco has reported a 7.5% rise in profits and is reporting it’s strongest Christmas in 3 years.
Customers redeemed £34 million worth of Clubcard vouchers over the festive period.
