Thanks to Parcel2go partner DHL, people wanting to send a parcel to Germany can do so, knowing they are contributing to a courier with sustainable initiatives.
The Deustche Post DHL group report this week that last year, it made substantial developments in its global efforts to become sustainable.
The corporation saw its Carbon Efficiency Index improve by three points, while almost one and a half thousand relief missions, known as GoHelp, were carried out on behalf of countries hit by natural disasters.
Other initiatives include projects to help schools in socially deprived areas, called Teach First Germany, as well as GoGreen shipments which numbered between 145 and 700 million packages.
By the year 2020, DHL hope to improve its CO2 efficiency across its company, by 30% compared to 2007 levels.
