A survey shows 25% of shoppers think e-tailers need to make buying online safer.
Research by payment management company Cybersource shows only 12% of people shopping on the internet think it is their own responsibility to make sure they don’t fall victim to identity theft.
16% say it is the responsibility of the banks.
Cybersource found that 85% of online consumers already take care when buying over the web.
However the survey also revealed almost half of Brits still don’t shop online because of security fears.
