The snow and ice is causing problems for some who’ve been doing their Christmas shopping online this year.

It’s thought thousands of people will be without their Christmas gifts because of difficulties reaching some addresses in the UK.

Royal Mail spokeswoman said the majority of parcels have or will be delivered but treacherous conditions in some parts of the country have meant some will not arrive in time for Christmas.

Areas which have seen parcel deliveries delayed include the Sevenoaks region in Kent, the South Wales and Gwent Valleys and Northampton.
