Online auction giants eBay.com have declared that Selling Manager Applications on the site have been made available to all traders.
Previously only sellers subscribed to either Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro could access this service.
The applications carry tools to help with merchandising such as designs for listing pages and market research.
There are also apps for client support, shipping and account management.
It is hoped that opening up the marketplace for apps will encourage developers to create more, adding to the 40 apps already in existence.
This should mean that soon they will spread worldwide, so that UK users can take advantage of them.
