The future of Royal Mail is once again up in the air, with its Chief Executive standing down.

Adam Crozier has jumped ship to become Chief Executive at ITV.

The 46 year old will take up the role later this year.

Mr Crozier has spent 7 years at Royal Mail and implemented a £2billion transformation programme.

The postal firm is currently locked in crunch talks with the Communication Workers Union over those modernization plans.

If an agreement is not reached, the UK could be crippled by more walkouts like those seen last November.
