More than half of consumers claim their postman has left 'Sorry you were out' cards', when they were actually at home.

That's according to a survey done by Consumer Focus.
Nearly a quarter of those questioned said this had happened on at least 3 occasions.

There are claims that some postmen leave parcels at the sorting office and just take out a batch of the calling cards.

The findings of the survey will be broadcast on a BBC Panorama programme.
