It seems that neither the Royal Mail nor the Communication Workers Union are willing to hold their hands up in the dispute which has left the country's postal system in a complete state.
According to the CWU the Royal Mail has adopted a "head in the sand" approach to quote the union's deputy general secretary David Ward, which is hurting nobody but the poor general public.
This stubborn stance means that there are as many as 20 million undelivered pieces of mail sitting in sorting offices across the country going nowhere fast, the CWU claims.
Royal Mail, however, has laughed off those claims, saying that the figure is nearer to 4 or 5 million.
Either way, it still amounts to millions of undelivered parcels and letters, which, at the end of the day, sees the public and nobody else suffer.
There's more bad news as well, with strikes in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Warrington taking place next week.
