Royal Mail has said sorry to residents in a South Derbyshire village waiting for a new post box to be put in.

People living in Woodville say they have been waiting over 6 months for a box to be replaced on Hartshorne Road.

Bosses say the delay is down to an administrative error.

Locals told the Burton News that the failure to act has left many in the lurch, particularly the elderly.

They are demanding to be given a date for the work to be done.
