The UK's biggest online parcel delivery service, Parcel2Go, has announced record figures for yearly turnover, amounting to eleven point six million pounds.

Parcel2Go has seen a successful expansion, year on year, of between 60 and 70 per cent – and was recently declared to be the online business of the year by the T-Mobile Awards.

Forecasts for the coming 12 months show growth is expected to see another rise, with the company predicted to hit sixteen million pounds.

This increase would represent a giant hike from figures of eight point five million pounds, last year.

Parcel2Go Co-founder Richard Mercer said: "Our customer base has expanded continuously, and we are constantly exploring new avenues and innovations to target, all of which are strengthening our offering."
