If you've got a rare item and are unsure about how to get publicity for it fast and fuss-free, the answer is eBay according to Tamebay news site.
Someone with a 32 year old Apple 1, hand-built by one of Apple's founders Steve Wozniak, asked the San Fransisco journal how they could spark interest.
The answer: it wasn't valuable enough to get the media excited but you only need to list it on eBay to sell it a handsome price.
The journal was right. The Apple 1 sold for $17,950 – that's around £11,277 and a couple of thousand over the estimated price.
Luckily buying rare items from the USA doesn't have to mean whopping delivery charges on top. Parcel2Go collect and deliver to the USA for as little as £14.81.
