Businesses that have sent parcels to Spain in the last week may experience some delays in their delivery after postal strikes in Madrid.
The post workers took to the streets to protest at the planned privatisation of the nation's postal service. Another protest has been planned to coincide with the European Postal Conference, which will be taking place in Valencia on the 29th of April.
Sending a courier to Spain might be an idea for companies planning on sending parcels around that time.
The unions have called the strikes in response to the government attempting to reduce the workforce by 3,000. At present, the postal service has debts of around 150m euros.
