Florida could become the place for Brits sending a parcel to USA in the future, after the state was said to be "the one to watch" by a property mogul.

The US state is one of the few areas where the property market is lively, according to overseas property resource Nubricks.com.

Website director Adam Samuel said: "Florida is one of those markets where there are actually sales happening – certainly from foreign buyers."

His comments come after the Worldwide Property Group, found 65 per cent of people are viewing now as a good time to buy a property abroad.

Florida is attracting the most attention, suggesting that the region is where Brits may be sending parcels to relatives in years to come.

Mr Samuels said however that "Florida is the one to watch, but the broader market of the US is still going to take a long time to recover."
