Businesses and individuals sending a parcel to USA should remember that courier delivery firm UPS will not be operating on Labor Day this Monday (September 6th).
The holiday is one of eight in the year that the parcel delivery firm observes, though its Express Critical service remains open 365 days a year.
Companies in the UK will need to remember that deliveries will not be made on the day, though of course as this is not a holiday in Britain, pick-ups will be made.
The next time UPS will not be operating is Thanksgiving Day, which takes place on November 26th this year.
For anyone with relatives living in the US, Thanksgiving can be a perfect time to send a parcel delivery of creature comforts from home as the locals celebrate their history with their own mix traditions.
In the UK, the next non-operational days for UPS are not until the Christmas Day and Boxing Day holidays, which fall on December 27th and 28th this time around.
