More people might be sending a parcel to Germany, after it was claimed the country is "surprisingly affordable".
This is the view of the German National Tourist Office, which also claimed that Berlin is cheaper than other European capitals.
With more people considering that now is a good time to buy a home abroad, it might just be that cheap living costs in Germany and Berlin; attract some Brits.
According to the Worldwide Property Group, some 65 per cent of people think now is a good time to buy an overseas property.
The Group also say that 62 per cent of people surveyed are actively looking abroad.
Wibke Carter, press officer for the German National Tourism Office, said: "Berlin is a lot cheaper than its European counterparts like London or Paris so once you're in Germany, it's surprisingly affordable."
