Parcel delivery firm DHL has praised the speedy growth of Vietnam's economy.
The courier says the country is equipped to retain its position as the area's strongest economy after the recession.
DHL Express Vietnam saw its volumes grow higher than 30 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2010 and expects to see even higher growth, by the end of the year.
Trade within Asia was named as the reason Vietnam and the parcel delivery company have experienced such strong growth.
The region has seen 16 of the country's top 20 trade lanes rebounding significantly this year.
Chief executive of DHL Asia-Pacific, John Pearson commented: "As logistics are key to business and economic success, we go where our customers need to go."
