With the snow forcing more and more consumers turning to the Internet to do their shopping because they can’t get out, major e-tailers are having problems getting their deliveries out.

Online giants Amazon and ASOS are among those that have put notices on their websites to say deliveries have been affected.

Amazon has suspended its express and evening deliveries and says parcels could take a day or two longer to arrive.

Asos has posted a list of a number of areas subject to delivery delays because of the snow.
