There is yet more evidence that parcel delivery services are again growing in demand, according to a new report.

Courier companies are set for a busy summer as sales of goods from online sources, the most recent BDO High Street Sales Tracker.

The research found that during the week ending the 23rd of May, online, telephone and catalogue purchases increased by 42.3 per cent, when weighed against last year.

The main for this, the survey says, is due to the vastly more broad range of goods available on the web, compared to 2009.

The sales expansion yet again outperformed that of high street stores, which by comparison showed growth of 3.7 per cent over last years figures.
