National parcel delivery and letters organisation Royal Mail has just announced the appointment of its newest chief executive.
The Parcel2go courier partner have declared Moya Greene – who is currently president and CEO of Canada Post – as their replacement for the departed Adam Crozier.
Ms Greene is believed to have flown to Britain last week in order to meet with Royal Mail officials, and will be the first female chief executive in the history of the establishment.
She is expected to begin her new post in July.
Donald Brydon, chairman of Royal Mail said that he admired the "energy, clear thinking and a proven leadership track record" of Ms Greene, highlighting her 'hugely relevant experience'.
