Courier service customers ordering fashion goods seem to have been busy on the website of UK high street store, New Look.

The value fashion chain's online retail establishment has become the third largest online clothing retailer, with 1.3 million orders taking place over the web in the last year.

The figure was unveiled as the company announced it's full-year results this week.

New Look moved up from fifth place to third in the online fashion market by taking a 4.1 per cent chunk of the market in the last financial term.

The contemporary website was recorded hits of just below two million every week, existing within 24 markets by the year end.

Chief executive of the retailer, Carl McPhail, said the unpredictable behaviour of the economy would be the biggest challenges in the coming year.
