Sticking with DHL's parcel delivery service, parent group Deustche Post have announced the creation of as many as 700 new employment positions in southern Germany.
A new call centre being built in the south of the country will mean courier operations in the central European nation will be of better efficiency, offering even greater convenience.
The office, which can be found in the town of Furth in Bavaria, is believed to be the fifteenth largest of its type.
Deutsche Post board member Jürgen Gerdes said he discussed the new initiative upon meeting with Horst Seehofer of Bavaria, with the prime minister saying the job openings were the kind that Nürnberg-Fürth needed at the moment.
