In spite of – or perhaps because of – the gloomy economy, more and more UK consumers are looking to shop online this Christmas, according to new research.
A YouGov survey commissioned by VeriSign has found that as many as eighty-six per cent of the population will be buying online during the festive period. This is a leap of six per cent on last year's figure.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, though, one of the main things putting people off buying is concern about unreliable delivery.
Following the recent postal strikes, over a quarter of people are worried that their gifts will fail to arrive on time, the survey says.
But don't forget – with website services including some of the biggest name courier brands in the world, Parcel2Go.com is a great alternative to the post office.
