As thousands of Royal Mail postal workers take to the picket lines for another day, it’s been announced that a second wave of action will take place next week.

The Communication Workers Union has served notice of another 3 day strike that will begin on Thursday the 29th of October.

Royal Mail Managing Director, Mark Higson, has said ‘his door is open and his phone is on”.

But the Union has blamed Mr Higson for scuppering progress earlier in the week claiming a letter sent to them was different to the ‘form of words’ they agreed.
