Business has been booming on eBay over the valentines weekend.

The online auction giant revealed that lingerie went up 823 per cent in the last two weeks.

Although there are no figures from previous years to compare the rise to, it’s thought to be unprecedented.

The gain has been made by up-market brands.

Rigby and Peller saw sales quadruple, Myla’s sales rose 150%, while Agent Provocateur amd La Perla are both up over 800 per cent.
