Courier services look to be in greater demand at present, thanks to the good weather and the forthcoming World Cup.
New figures from the latest IMRG Capgemini e-retail sales index show British consumers splashed out more than £4.4 billion on online deals in the last month.
It was the homes and garden sector which contributed the biggest rise, going up by almost a third.
Clothing, shoes, and other accessories also brought a big contribution to the figures, with increased sales of 21 per cent.
Meanwhile health, beauty and lifestyle goods were bolstered by 16 per cent.
The other sector to witness a rise ahead of the summer season was alcohol, with the football World Cup and public holidays believed to be behind this increase.
