People will be able to order parcel deliveries straight from fashion retailer H&M in future, after the company announced that it is opening an internet shopping portal.
H&M will allow newsletter subscribers to shop exclusively on its forthcoming e-commerce website from September 9th, before opening it up to the public a week later on September 16th.
It will sell the retailer's full range of menswear, womenswear and childrenswear, as well as all the accessories it carries in its High Street stores.
Meanwhile, H&M's recently-launched home collection will also be available for online parcel delivery, including bed linen, curtains, cushions and towels.
The launch of the online shopping platform has been timed to coincide with the launch of the autumn season's new collections and is expected to be a valuable addition to H&M's existing 168 stores in the UK.
It is further good news from the Swedish fashion chain, after it recently reported a strong start to third quarter sales in spite of reduced consumer spending in Europe generally.
H&M is the third-largest fashion retailer in the world, behind Gap in the US and Spain's Inditex.
