Nearly half of consumers will buy their Christmas shopping in the January sales.

That’s according to research by website pricegrabber.co.uk.

47% of people questioned said they’d do some of their Christmas shopping after the festive period.

Almost a quarter of people who took part in the survey said they’d started their Christmas shopping as early as October to spread the cost.

Two-thirds said they would shop online to make sure they get the best deal.

Over 1000 people took part in the survey.
