American high street chain Gap have stated their intentions to unveil an online shop for the UK later on in 2010.
Other fashion goods from the brand, such as Banana Republic, will also be available from the UK supply headquarters – which will serve nine other European nations.
The US label only made its first appearance online very recently, being listed on the online fashion specialists site, Asos, in 2009.
Chairman of Gap Glenn Murphy, said the move showed that the retailer are ready for their business to grow and move forward.
Mr Murphy added that he hopes planned investments will develop the Gap brand throughout more areas of the world.
