Fashion parcels boost

Parcel deliveries appear to have been popular among fashion fans, as revenue at Asos rocketed by 44 per cent in the last year.

The global fashion site declared the pre-tax profits amounted to more than £20 million, up to the end of the financial term on March the 31st.

Sales which peaked at £63 million for the year, jumped by a massive 95 per cent on the year previous.

International sales now amounted to 28 per cent of the online shopping site's fortunes.

Asos chief executive, Nick Robertson, said that the company are "more confident than at this time last year, with both UK and international sales accelerating."
