Consumers can expect to find the highest level of accessibility, with the online shops of retailers John Lewis and B&Q.

The 2010 Ecommerce Accessibility Report run by internet consultancy Webcredible ranked the DIY and garden store at first place.

The study of 20 leading online businesses, showed B&Q overtook department store John Lewis, to take first place. The top ranked retailer scored 84 per cent – 16 per cent better than the B&Q score from 2009.

Other retailers to see big leaps include jewellers H Samuel and fashion chain Next.

The average score overall for this year however, states that accessibility was down for the group of 20 retailers by 1.4 per cent on the figure from 2009.ADNFCR-2658-ID-19635938-ADNFCR
