Online auction giants eBay have produced an Online Business Manifesto in order to help internet traders.
The web's biggest marketplace claim it is designed to offer online merchant's the right to be heard in the online retail sector.
eBay say they hope the newly elected government will bring in policies with the intention of enabling sustained healthy competition.
Among the new measures being urged is legislation to stop certain brands from preventing the sale of their products, by internet vendors.
The manifesto also approaches the notion of improving parcel delivery services, to meet with today's more demanding online shoppers.
Vanessa Canzini, head of eBay corporate communications in Europe said:
"It is essential that the next government puts the policies in place that are needed to enable the economy to thrive."
