A number of e-retail firms are turning to alternative parcel delivery services as a result of recent postal strikes.
That's according to the Interactive Media in Retail Group. Their director of operations, David Smith, has said that, as a result of the industrial action organised by the Communication Workers Union, many online retailers have switched to alternative carriers and have not switched back.
Mr Smith was speaking after a study from e-Digital Research found that, despite the strikes, 93 per cent of consumers still plan to buy gifts on the net this Christmas.
Remember, Parcel2Go.com is the largest online parcel delivery service in the UK.
