Sending a parcel to Germany will now be even easier following the news that national post service Deutsche Post is set to expand its reach across the country.
A multitude of contact points for deliveries are to be added, it has been announced by the company, who are a subsidiary of courier giants DHL.
Availability will be increased to private consumers, with around four thousand points of sale being supplemented to the seventeen outlets already in place across the country.
Additionally, two thousand extra letter boxes featuring the famous yellow and black postal horn will be added to the present one hundred thousand boxes.
Board member Jurgen Gerdes said he hopes the move will allow Deustche Post to build on its most recent customer survey, which recorded an almost 90 per cent satisfaction rate.
