Courier to France services could be set for increased demand as clothing chain Accessorize hits out on its own and aims to target the European market.
Accessorize products are to be listed on a dedicated site after previously being included on parent company Monsoon's own retail website.
And reflecting the brand's goal to reach into Europe, the website will be available in French, German and Danish - meaning courier to France and parcel to Germany firms might be about to see increased trade.
The decision comes as online retailing is experiencing a period of rapid growth, with internet sales in the UK in June up by 20 per cent year-on-year.
According to the latest IMRG/Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index clothing retailers experienced a particular strong month, with sales revenue up by 22 per cent in this sector.
Monsoon and Accessorize chief commercial officer Steve Back said: "The return on investment from the online opportunity is sizeable."
The new site will be hosted by Venda, whose chief executive Eric Abensur commented: "Successful retailers such as Monsoon and Accessorize realise the importance of the evolving ecommerce channel for maximising its commercial benefits."
