The recession may be causing havoc on the high street but Midlands retailer Pam Perrins is going from strength to strength with her footwear business.
The entrepreneur is celebrating thriving sales by launching an online store as well as opening a second outlet of her John Jones Footwear shop.
Her plans will see turnover boosted by £50,000 to reach £300,000 for the first time in its history.
Ms Perrins revealed that the online store will allow shoppers to search through and purchase shoes with minimal fuss.
Her success is indicative of many online retailers, who are prospering in the face of extremely tough economic conditions.
