Postal services in Bristol will grind to a halt next week as workers continue to strike over pay and working conditions.
From 20:00 on Sunday distribution and collection drivers will down tools and refuse to work for 24 hours in a bid to force the Royal Mail to change plans to modernise its services.
On Tuesday, more than 400 staff at the Severn Beach distribution centre will strike for 24 hours while a further thousand will walk out of the Filton sorting centre on the same day.
It means people in Bristol will have to seek alternative parcel delivery services or face the prospect of having their mail sat in a sorting office with millions of others going absolutely nowhere.
