Boots is considering joining forces with other retailers online to offer in store delivery.

The high street chemist would allow e-stores to drop orders to one of the 2,600 shops across the country, where customers can pick them up.

Boots UK director of Multichannel, Tim Stacey said the initiative could help thousands of online shops that don’t have good reach in small towns.

40% of online orders were collected in-store over the festive period.
