Parcel delivery customers well used to coming across online retail giant Amazon, when searching for goods to buy.

According to research by leading search engine marketer, Greenlight, Amazon.com is the site which is most apparent, when British consumers enter brown goods into search engines.

Brown goods consist of televisions, consoles, Blu-Ray players and computers.

This was the primary finding of Greenlight’s Brown Goods report, March 2010 report. Here, the company evaluated the search results for 940 key words within the brown goods sector.

Amazon appeared the most times, with a visibility rating of 55 per cent of organic searches, while also featuring in 43 per cent of paid searches, last month.
